Movie Plot:
A successful and single businesswomen Kate Holbrook(Tina Fey) always put her career ahead of her personal life. Now being 37 she is determined to have a kid of her own. But her plan goes falling down when she realizes she only has one in a million chances of getting pregnant and also having a denied adoption. Kate allows working girl Angie Ostrowski to be her surrogate. After Kate knows Angie is pregnant, Kate starts to go into precision nesting mode: reading childcare books, baby-proofing the apartment and researching top pre-schools.

But when everything is going as Kate planned Baby Mama, Angie shows in front of Kate's doorsteps with no where to live. As Angie is living at Kate's place, Kate as expected tries to change Angie into a perfect expectant mom. In a battle of wills, they both will struggle the way through for the preparation of the baby's arrival. In the middle of this tug-of-war, they'll discover two kinds of family: the one you're born to and the one you make.
